It doesn't look like AMC will have to do much more than 'call Saul,' after all.

In an interview with Vulture today, BREAKING BAD's Bob Odenkirk revealed he's more than willing to take part in a potential 'Saul' spin-off.

"Oh yeah, we've talked about it," he told the publication a few days after wrapping the finale of AMC's hit series. "Vince [Gilligan] is still really busy with the show so we haven't talked very in-depth about it, but he clearly thinks it's a possibility. And I've certainly told him that if there was some way to see more of Saul then I would be happy to do it. It would be fun."

As BWW TV reported yesterday, the project, though in the Early Stages, is being billed as a potential comedy, with creator Vince Gilligan on board with Peter Gould, the writer who conceived fan-favorite Goodman.

BREAKING BAD follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live.

With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.
