LondonNet reports that Lady Gaga has signed on for director Matthew Vaughn's movie THE SECRET SERVICE for Fox. The site also writes that Adele, Taylor Swift, and David Beckham are set to make appearances, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth and Taron Egerton.
THE SECRET SERVICE is based on the graphic novel series by Mark Millar and David Gibbons, with script by Vaughn and Jane Goldman. The film follows a secret agent who becomes a mentor for a rookie in the service.
Gaga is exected to play herself in the film, a source recently told The Sun. "Gaga only had to commit one day to film her scenes early next year," they said. "She's such an Anglophile she didn't take much persuading."
Jackson will play the film's villain, while Emma Watson and Bella Heathcote are in consideration for the film's female lead.
From her powerful and bloody rendition of "Paparazzi" to the gender bending, adrenaline fueled version of "You and I," Lady Gaga is the mastermind behind some of the most memorable VMA performances in recent years.
As one of the most talked about and innovative artists of this generation, Lady Gaga has left an indelible mark on the "MTV Video Music Awards" by winning an astounding 13 Moonmen since 2009, including "Best New Artist," "Video of the Year" for "Bad Romance" as well as "Best Video with a Message" for "Born This Way."
