Lady Gaga is currently in London for the iTunes Festival, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday, September 1st. The pop star gave her only newspaper interview to The Sun and talked about everything from the show tomorrow and her new album ARTPOP to Elton John, William and Kate, One Direction, Miley Cyrus and more.

"When I had surgery I really missed being on stage and I have missed the applause. That is an incredible feeling, knowing the audience is happy," Lady Gaga told the paper. "I haven't missed the fame or attention with all the rest of it. I really enjoyed the downtime because it rejuvenated my creativity and I figured a lot about myself in the past year. I realized I am not in it for the fame."

She continued: "I am all about the music and the fantasy of performance. I am a student of Bowie, Bolan and Freddie Mercury. If we could get in a time machine and go back to see what they were doing, they would be doing the exact same thing."

The iTunes Festival will be live streamed around the world at 9PM GMT, 4PM EST and 1PM PST.

From her powerful and bloody rendition of "Paparazzi" to the gender bending, adrenaline fueled version of "You and I," Lady Gaga is the mastermind behind some of the most memorable VMA performances in recent years.

As one of the most talked about and innovative artists of this generation, Lady Gaga has left an indelible mark on the "MTV Video Music Awards" by winning an astounding 13 Moonmen since 2009, including "Best New Artist," "Video of the Year" for "Bad Romance" as well as "Best Video with a Message" for "Born This Way."
