The Cutting Room, one of New York City's best known musical entertainment venues, will present a remarkable tribute, Ricky Nelson Remembered starring Matthew and Gunnar Nelson on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:30 pm. Matthew and Gunnar are the twin sons of Ricky Nelson and they are multi-platinum recording artists in their own right. They will relive the music and memories of their father in this multi-media event, a one-night only show.

Hall of Famer, Ricky Nelson is the only artist to have a No. 1 song, No. 1 movie and No. 1 TV show in the same week. Life Magazine coined the phrase "Teen Idol" after him and he is credited with pioneering the country rock sound.

The show will feature hit songs like "Hello Mary Lou," "Poor Little Fool," "Travelin' Man," "I'm Walkin'," "I Gotta Feeling," "Teenage Idol," "Garden Party" and many more. Ricky Nelson Remembered showcases his life with never-before-seen interviews from artists he influenced, including Paul McCartney and Chris Isaak. Matthew and Gunnar's musical event is heartfelt and full of laughter.

Ricky Nelson died in a plane crash on his way to perform a New Year's Eve concert in 1986. His legacy includes 53 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and nineteen other top-ten hits. He is one of the biggest-selling artists of all time and a Golden Globe winner for his performance alongside John Wayne in Rio Bravo.

From Ozzie and Harriet to Ricky to Matthew and Gunnar, the Nelson's are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only family in history with three successive generations of No. 1 hit makers.

Remembering Ricky Nelson is a show not to be missed on September 23rd at the Cutting Room. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm. The Cutting Room is located at 44 East 32nd Street, New York, NY 10016. For ticketing, and more information, visit their web site at www.thecuttingroomnyc.com or call (212) 691-1900.
