From the makers of the acclaimed SteamBrew multi-cup brewer comes a breakthrough in single-serve brewing technology. The single serve brewer from iCoffee is the world's first to use SpinBrew technology to produce a dramatically smoother and better-tasting beverage from a K-compatible single-serve machine.
iCoffee's SpinBrew technology uses a patent-pending needle with jets to spin, steam and stir inside the cup. The SpinBrew needle creates a mini- French Press effect that cannot be achieved by other brewers. This revolutionary brewing technology virtually eliminates the bitter-acidic aftertaste often associated with single serve coffee makers.
"Our brewer doesn't discriminate. We accept all cups including every K-Cup , RealCup capsules, OneCup and ALL Treehouse private label cups. Our iCoffee lovers demanded that we deliver in a single serve machine the 'impossibly smooth' taste they have come to expect, and we are thrilled to be able to do that with this single serve brewer," said Bruce Burrows, inventor and CEO of iCoffee.
Remington launched the iCoffee multi-cup brewer with SteamBrew technology in 2013. It was the first coffee brewer to utilize rotational steam jets inside the brew basket to crack open the grounds, unlocking rich coffee flavors while virtually eliminating any bitter or acidic aftertaste.
iCoffee Single Serve also features the world's first Dial-a-Brew control for single serve brewers which allows consumers to customize the strength and taste by simply dialing any brew size between 4 and 12 ounces in 0.5-ounce increments. This feature also lets consumers select the precise amount of beverage when brewing over ice.
"With iCoffee Single Serve, coffee lovers will finally experience a dramatically better tasting cup of coffee from a single serve machine and be able to choose ANY K-style cup on the market. By delivering this game-changing technology, we are guaranteeing coffee lovers and our retail partners "impossibly smooth" taste and unlimited freedom of choice," Burrows added.
iCoffee's Opus single serve brewer will be available nationwide at Bed Bath & Beyond in November, 2014 with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $139.99. For more information about the company, please visit www.icoffee.com.
