Yogurty's has launched a multi-faceted campaign in partnership with and in support of one of Canada's most represented charities, The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF). Among the many initiatives the company is undertaking to support CBCF, Yogurty's has created a special flavour, Pink Velvet, for which 10% of net proceeds will be donated to the cause.
"We are proud supporters of healthy cups in more ways than one," said Yogurty's Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Aaron Serruya. "Our goal is to raise awareness and support the foundation, keeping in mind the fun, playful attitude we share with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. We believe our customers will enjoy what we have in-store for them to help us achieve that goal. We encourage our customers to join the conversation by using the hashtag #ISupportHealthyCups."
They will kick off the campaign on Friday, September 19 with the Pink Velvet Weekend in participating stores across the country, where customers can donate, win prizes, and enjoy an extra 10% off of their purchase throughout the weekend, ending Sunday, October 21. The program will continue throughout September and October, with several options for customers to support, and enter for a chance to win over $40K in prizing.
"We are thankful to Yogurty's and their customers," said Sandra Palmaro, CEO, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Ontario Region. "Funds raised go toward the most innovative breast cancer research projects, breast health education and advocacy initiatives to support women and their families affected by the disease."
