Whataburger has some good news to share with its Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger fans. As of 3 p.m. today, the customer favorite rejoins the menu, this time as part of Whataburger's famous All-Time Favorites line-up.
Whataburger fans know sometimes opposites really do attract, and the Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger is one such example. The Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger features two 100-percent beef patties, bacon, grilled onions, Monterey Jack and American cheese and Whataburger's Original Mustard - plus Whataburger's Sweet & Spicy Pepper Sauce - all served on a five-inch toasted bun. Not completely sweet and not completely spicy, the burger's ideal balance of flavors makes for the perfect blend of deliciousness.
"The Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger was an immediate fan favorite when we introduced it in 2015. We're really happy to share that we've made room for this new classic so our customers can enjoy all the time," said Whataburger Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Rich Scheffler.
The Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger originally hit the scene in summer 2015 as a limited-time offer. Thanks to requests from fans, it's now on the All-Time Favorites menu where it will join mainstays like the Patty Melt and the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich. The All-Time Favorites menu is a rotating collection of burgers and sandwiches that got their start as limited-time offers, but were brought back due to popular demand.

ABOUT WHATABURGER:
Whataburger has focused on its fresh, made-to-order burgers and friendly customer service since 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger as a small roadside burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dobson gave his restaurant a name he hoped to hear customers say every time they took a bite of his made-to-order burgers: "What a burger!" Within the first week, people lined up around the block for his 25 cent, 100 percent beef burgers served on five-inch buns. Today, the company is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 800 locations in 10 states with sales of more than $2 billion annually.
