"Whey Coco is a powdered coconut water based-protein drink (15g protein per serving). The product combines whey protein isolate, freeze-dried coconut water, cocoa, evaporated cane juice, non-fat milk powder, natural flavor and monk fruit extract (a zero-calorie sweetener). From a taste perspective, Whey Coco is very enjoyable, which is certainly helped by the fact that the company uses sugar as one of its sweeteners. The coconut water gives it a slightly salty note that's definitely thirst-quenching, while the added cocoa and milk give it a rich and filling body. Honestly, the blend is so enjoyable that we could see ourselves consuming it simply for the taste alone. The electrolytes, protein, iron, and calcium are the key nutritional benefits, while each serving clocks in at 100 calories (assuming you are mixing it with water as suggested). As far as the branding goes, we like what Whey Coco has done. The product definitely says "protein" and "coconut water" with a design that feels like something that belongs in the natural channel. It is both easy to read and approachable, which are two things that we can't say about many of the protein powders that come our way. Overall, Whey Coco is a unique and very enjoyable entry into the protein powder space."
