BROOKLYN, N.Y., Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ Victoria Fine Foods (VFF), the #1 slow kettle cooked pasta sauce manufacturer in the US, will be sponsoring the Columbus Day Parade in New York City on October 13, 2014. Victoria's sponsorship includes advertising during WABC TV's coverage of the parade and a float in the parade highlighting the brand's new package, its Italian heritage, and its ingredients being 100% Italian tomatoes.

Victoria's sponsorship of the parade is part of a multi-million advertising and marketing campaign to create awareness for Victoria's more premium and authentic Italian ingredients vs most major brands. The float depicts a gondolier with a couple in the boat near a Venice-like bridge holding a large replica of Victoria's new "V" shaped package. Victoria's new package, which includes an image of a gondola, supports Victoria's philosophy of Ingredients Come First and is the only major pasta sauce brand to highlight its ingredients on the front of their package.

"We are honored to be a sponsor of The 2014 Columbus Day Parade," indicated Don Davide, Chief Strategy Officer, VFF. "Unlike most major brands, Victoria brand sauces use 100% Italian tomatoes for an authentic, and we believe superior, homemade taste.

The company, founded in 1929 by Italian immigrants, continues to use the traditional slow kettle cooked approach to ensure a rich flavor and homemade taste. Apart from its old world charm, the gondola embraces elegance, romance and a deliberate slowness. You can't rush pasta sauce. So in a world where everything is a rush, we make it slowly for when you don't have time to make it yourself."

VFF full service agency of record, MME of New York, created the integrated campaign including redesigning the Victoria labels, all advertising / marketing / promotional materials and designing the float.
