No matter where someone is coming from, Highway 1 was built for road trips. Head to Cambria on a motorcycle, with one friend or loved one, or with a large group-there is plenty to do and see regardless of a traveler's vacation style. Visitors can download the Visit Cambria app on iOS or Android to develop the ideal itinerary, then hit the road!

MOTORCYCLISTS
Exploring the Central Coast by motorcycle is breathtaking and exciting. The curves and scenery make riding fun, and the views encourage frequent stops. While staying in Cambria, motor-tourists can also take day trips up and down the coast to explore even more.

Lodging
Stay in a charming bed and breakfast in town for convenient walking access to local eateries, tasting rooms, and shops. The Olallieberry Inn offers unique appeal in the form of a beautiful garden, an extensive vinyl collection, and gourmet breakfast, plus hors d'oeuvres and wine in the evenings. Walk to Cambria's original biker bar, Mozzi's, down the street for a taste of history.

Activities
Visit Hearst Castle
Ride six miles up Highway 1 to reach the iconic Hearst Castle. Built in the 1920s by media magnate William Randolph Hearst, 'La Cuesta Encantada,' or the Enchanted Hill, is a must-see for any visitors to the Central Coast. The grand estate features 165 rooms and more than 125 acres of sprawling gardens, walkways, terraces, and pools, most of which are available for tours.

Day Trips - North
Cambria is the perfect hub for short rides up and down the coast. Head north to see iconic landmarks like the elephant seals, Ragged Point, and Bixby Bridge. Head to Gorda for a shorter trip, or go all the way to Big Sur for a day full of natural wonders.

Day Trips - South
Go for a short trip south on Highway 1 on the Cayucos route to get some famous Brown Butter Cookies and visit the Cayucos Pier, or take a longer trip on the Montaña de Oro route to see the caves at Spooner's Cove and have lunch at House of JuJu by the Bay in Morro Bay. Go all the way to Avila Beach for a true taste of the Central Coast.

COUPLES
Whether embarking on a romantic getaway or heading out of town with a friend, Cambria is perfect for a trip for two. Pairs of visitors are invited to take part in activities that will leave both of them feeling refreshed and closer than ever.

Lodging
Stay on Moonstone Beach Drive to enjoy the sunset over the Pacific and still be close enough to enjoy all Cambria has to offer. At the Blue Dolphin Inn, enjoy ocean views, fireplaces, and soaker tubs-the pinnacle of relaxation. (Four-legged friends are welcome there, too!)

Activities
Take a Hike
There are so many opportunities in and around Cambria to get in touch with the great outdoors. Stroll along Moonstone Beach and through Fiscalini Ranch for ocean views, or head up to Salmon Creek Falls for a more challenging hike.

Have a Spa Day
The ultimate relaxing vacation should always feature a spa day. The Nest Spa at El Colibri is an ideal retreat, featuring a variety of massage options, steam rooms, and an outdoor jacuzzi for a finishing touch.

Go Shopping
The stores in town are worth seeing-there are no chains in Cambria, and many of the shops and galleries are located in historic buildings. They're full of beautiful antiques, stunning artwork, and unique finds.

LARGE GROUPS
Guests can grab friends or family (or both!), hop in the car, and head for Cambria, where there are plenty of activities to appease everyone's interests. Celebrate a milestone birthday, a big life event, or simply the opportunity to escape with loved ones.

Lodging
Cambria is full of rental properties, and many are roomy enough to house an entire group. Oceanpoint Ranch also offers a bunkhouse room, featuring a kitchen, living space, a private bedroom, and enough bunkbeds for everyone. If everyone wants their own rooms, the Cambria Pines Lodge is the largest lodging property in Cambria, with more than enough rooms and amenities for all.

Activities
Go Wine Tasting
There is an abundance of wineries on the Central Coast, each offering unique blends and varietals. Once you've tasted at all of the tasting rooms in Cambria, make the trek to the hills of Paso Robles and discover even more local wines.

Ride Horses
The two horseback riding outfits in Cambria, Covell's Clydesdales and Cambria Horseback, can take groups on rides with stunning ocean views. Saddle up for a great time!

Tour Stepladder Ranch & Creamery
Stepladder is a fully functioning goat cheese creamery and an avocado farm. Guests can visit them just outside of Cambria to meet their herd of Lamancha goats and learn about the cheese making process with their group.
