The Tea Spot, creator of the Steepware brand of loose leaf teaware, announces today the availability of Traveler Zita by finum at their online tea store.
The Traveler Zita tea tumbler facilitates making hot or cold loose leaf tea on-the-go. This insulated double-walled travel mug made of FDA-approved Eastman Tritan can keep beverages hot or cold for up to three hours. This tea tumbler features a patented Tea Control Kit filter that lets you brew the tea and control the steeping process. By simply screwing the lid on the tumbler the tea leaves are isolated from the water, thereby controlling the brewing of the tea and keeping its taste uncompromised. A Corkmec silicone cork seals the drinking spout. The unique lid is designed as a contoured drinking cup, thus enhancing the aroma of your brewed tea beverage, while cooling it down as you drink.
"The innovative lid design allows you to drink from a sleek tea cup, with a contour similar to a thin-rimmed wine glass. It is thoughtful touches like this that make it no wonder that Traveler Zita has received multiple design awards," said The Tea Spot's CMO, Jessica Kochik. The Traveler Zita received a "Good Design" award from the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre of Architecture Art Design & Urban Studies. It also previously won the "Best New Product" award at the World Tea East Expo.
The Traveler Zita makes a single ten-ounce (10 oz) serving of gourmet tea. It is BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and easy to clean. The Traveler Zita comes in three modern colors: apple green translucent, ruby red translucent, and anthracite translucent. It is now available to purchase at The Tea Spot's online tea shop for $24.95, http://theteaspot.com.
