On September 2nd, The Inn at Little Washington will host INNSTOCK, a food & music festival and the second of three events in 2018 celebrating Patrick O'Connell's first 40 years as Chef and Proprietor of the Michelin-starred restaurant and iconic inn. Each of the 40 th anniversary events are a celebration of relationships and INNSTOCK is no exception. This culinary family reunion will feature over 20 of The Inn's alumni sous chefs who are returning to the mothership to prepare their finest offerings.

"I like to say that for anyone who missed Woodstock, this may be the next best thing, however, with much better food," said Chef O'Connell. "This is also our opportunity to showcase and celebrate the next generation of culinary stars in addition to our 40 th anniversary."

The alumni chefs, now proprietors and executive chefs of acclaimed restaurants from around the country, will each prepare a dish, served along with a fried chicken and BBQ buffet and a large selection of locally brewed beer and wine from Virginia's premier winemakers. Cher, Elton John, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin look-alikes will roam the crowd and musical entertainment includes the Plank Stompers and the Duskwhales. Hot air balloon rides will be available and the evening ends with fireworks, all on The Inn's beautiful "Field of Dreams". Just like the original, the show will go on, rain or shine.

The event is from 4pm-10pm with free parking and shuttles. Tickets are $250 per adult and can be purchased by calling 540-675-3800 or online https://www.theinnat40.com/innstock/ Take a look at our Facebook page to see which chefs are cooking and the dishes they will be preparing!
