The Courtyard by Marriott in Tysons, Virginia, will soon feature the largest fitness center of any hotel in the Tysons Corner area. The large-scale renovation and expansion project was prompted by the hotel's dedication to providing guests the opportunity to maintain their standard of active living while away from home. "The preservation of our guests' healthy lifestyle is important to us," says Heather Hull, General Manager of the Courtyard Tysons, "and we hope they will be pleased with our commitment to fitness and well-being."
The new fitness center will certainly be a sight to behold; the center will have expansive views and great natural light, an extensive array of TV equipped aerobic equipment; treadmills, ellipticals and bikes, a yoga area, strength training equipment, free weights and a comfortable outdoor sun deck. The investment checks in at nearly $400,000. Guests of the Courtyard Tysons who choose to take advantage of the new fitness center will be satisfied that it compares favorably to any national fitness chain.
The hospitality industry has for years led the way in promoting a healthy lifestyle for its customers. The Courtyard by Marriott in Tysons Corner will now be a leader in its region, showing other properties what it takes to have a high commitment level to their guest's fitness. They have set a standard for others to follow because the health of their guests is immensely important. The new fitness center will open by the end of the month of October, 2013.
