Taste of Toronto, the world-renowned restaurant festival happening from July 2 through July 5 at Fort York National Historic Site in Toronto, today announced it is partnering with WayHome Music and Arts, the highly anticipated summer music festival taking place from July 24 to 26 at Burl's Creek Event Grounds, near Barrie.
Visitors to Taste of Toronto will enjoy live musical performances curated by WayHome Music and Arts, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the tasting of signature dishes from some of the city's top restaurants and interacting with local and international top chefs at live cooking classes and demonstrations. The full music lineup will be announced soon. General tickets to Taste of Toronto start from $19, youth (6-15) tickets are $15 and children under five attend for free. VIP and Premium ticket packages are also available. To purchase tickets or for more information, sign up to receive regular Taste of Toronto updates at tasteoftoronto.com.
As a part of the VIP experience at WayHome Music and Arts, including closest stage viewing, festival boutique shopping and a massage lounge, ticket-holders will also experience a series of five Taste of Toronto-style mini-restaurants by Drake Hotel Properties including the Drake Hotel, Drake One Fifty and Drake Devonshire Inn. Drake will offer its 'classics with a twist' for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and everything in between) such as Drake granola, the classic Drake burger, fresh oysters, shrimp & grits and crispy clams, made-to-order tacos, grilled corn, pork ribs, ice cream sandwiches and freezies. The Drake mixology team will also be on hand to shake up thoughtfully crafted cocktails and pour premium wine in festival-safe carafes. VIP tickets are currently available for $599.99 at www.wayhome.com.
