Baby, it's cold outside! Who wouldn't like to trade in their white snow for white sand? Beach lovers have a chance to eat, drink and be TACKY this winter! Tacky Jacks is giving away a Gulf Shores and Orange Beach getaway to one creative crafter. Art enthusiasts of all ages are invited to make a tacky sweater using duct tape. "The idea came from years of teaching Ductigami classes at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores," Tara McMeans said. "The restaurant is unique because it has colorful duct tape from floor to ceiling, each with a message that our guests leave behind. We have always wanted to incorporate a tacky sweater theme into our winter program. So, we bounced the idea around with our team and guess what? It stuck!"

Participants will submit a photo of their duct tape Tacky Sweater online and the public will vote for their favorite. The photo with the most votes will win a 3-night stay in a Gulf front condo provided by Young's Suncoast Realty and Vacation Rentals, a parasailing adventure from Chute for the Skye, and $200 to spend at Tacky Jacks.

The Tacky Sweater Beach Getaway Giveaway is part of the Wacky Winter of Fun at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores. Visitors to the waterfront restaurant can participate in activities including Art al Fresco, Hands on Habitat, Beach Games and more. The contest will run through February 15, 2019.

Tacky Jacks has three waterfront restaurants in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, AL. Guests can arrive "By Land or By Sea" and enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a world famous Bushwacker. The Gulf Shores location sits on the Intracoastal waterway, it is covered in colorful duct tape and features mannequins dressed in formal wear made by Duck Tape "Stuck at Prom" finalists. The Orange Beach location, the original since 1980, has a marina and observation deck with views of dolphins and the Gulf of Mexico. The Fort Morgan location has a marina near the historic peninsula and is home to beautiful sunsets over Mobile Bay.
