Editor's Note: We had the opportunity to visit The Capital Grille at the Time Life Building in Midtown Manhattan and experience the Wagyu & Wine program. The delicious craft burgers were done to our exact liking and the outstanding wine selections created perfect pairings. We especially like that The Capital Grille makes fine dining accessible. Wagyu & Wine is available for guests of The Capital Grille nationwide.

The Capital Grille is now presenting Wagyu & Wine, an elevated twist of Wagyu burgers paired with elegant wines. Now through Nov. 19, guests are invited to The Capital Grille's lounge to experience three Wagyu burgers, paired with one of three hand-selected wines from the esteemed Wagner winemakers.

For $25*, guests can enjoy a gourmet Wagyu burger paired with one of three prestigious wines, typically available exclusively by the bottle: Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley); Belle Glos Las Alturas Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands); and Emmolo Merlot (Napa Valley). These exceptional wines were hand-selected by The Capital Grille's Advanced Sommelier Brian Phillips to pair perfectly with the gourmet Wagyu burgers.

"The Wagners have set the standard for masterful wines that deliver a bold yet refined experience that perfectly heightens the flavor of our Wagyu burgers," Phillips said. "The lush, supple and distinctive Merlot, alongside the robust Pinot Noir and rich, balanced Cabernet Sauvignon, build out a truly unique selection for our guests."

This year's burger selections include a Wagyu Cheeseburger with Havarti, Fried Egg and Crisp Onions; a Caramelized Onion Wagyu Burger featuring Jarlsberg and Mozzarella Cheese and Shallot Mayo; and the Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger with Candied Applewood Smoked Bacon and Vermont Cheddar.

"We take pride in using exceptional ingredients to artfully prepare culinary creations our guests look forward to with each visit," said The Capital Grille's Executive Chef Michael LaDuke. "Using Wagyu, we're delivering a memorable take on the classic burger to create an unforgettable dining experience."
