The St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation mixed sugar, spice and everything nice with fun and cheer during the second annual "Sprinkles!" interactive cookie decorating class on Dec. 7. The sold-out class kicked off the holiday season at the Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort.
For the second year, the Vinoy's Pastry Chef Michael Morlan instructed more than 80 guests in the fine art of decorating sugar and gingerbread cookies. During the 90-minute class, participants enjoyed beverages, treats and their cookies. Each participant also received an additional dozen cookies to take home along with their decorated creations.
Sponsored by the St. Anthony's Auxiliary, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Pinellas County brought their little "siblings" to the event. The St. Anthony's Auxiliary provided funds for nearly a dozen children in the program to attend.
Proceeds from the event benefitted the Susan Sheppard McGillicuddy Breast Center at St. Anthony's Hospital.
