Sofia Italian Grill Bows in Rockefeller Center, Tasting Party 1/15

Sofia Italian Grill, the family-owned restaurant that proudly served the Theatre District for over thirty years, is pleased to announce its relocation to the heart of Rockefeller Center, 42 West 48th St., 212-262-6200.

The recently-opened, elegantly-appointed location boasts two floors of fine dining, featuring a balcony area overlooking the main dining room. This upstairs space is ideal for private parties and cocktail receptions.

"This space became available in Rockefeller Center," explains Frank Sofia, "it was too good to pass up. All our loyal clientele love it and the food. I'm so glad that we made the move."

Under the watchful eye of longtime executive chef Michele Orsino, Sofia offers the best in Italian cuisine or savory meats and fresh fish from the grill. Among the signature dishes are: salmon with limoncello, penne Sofia with a secret sauce, and porchetta arrosto as well as grilled filet mignon, aged sirloin, aged bone-in Porterhouse steak for two, rack of lamb and branzino. Knowledgeable diners can round out their meal with one of Sofia's vintage wines from the restaurant's award-
winning list.

The spacious wood-paneled dining room offers an intimate, candlelight dinner for two or four in a plush banquet or for families or large parties, comfortable tables in one of the dining alcoves. Sofia offers an ethereal feel with high ceilings, soothing wall sconces, magnificent chandeliers and carved marble floors resulting in the penultimate fine dining experience.

Sofia, located at 42 W. 48th St in the heart of Rockefeller Center, is open Monday - Friday for lunch from ll:30AM - 3PM and for dinner daily during the week from 3PM - 11PM, Saturdays 4PM - 11PM and Sundays from 4PM - l0PM.
