School is out, summer is in session and families across the country are looking for their next great adventure. To encourage the exploration, Frito-Lay 2 Go multipacks and Quaker Chewy bars are taking families from the depths of the ocean to the treetops of a rainforest through a partnership with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Starting this week through October 20, families can receive a free kid's pass to participating AZA-accredited facilities nationwide with the purchase of a Frito-Lay 2 Go or Quaker Chewy Bar Variety Pack.

A leader in conservation education, AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums provide their local areas with first-hand science and environmental education opportunities with wildlife that families may not find elsewhere.

"It's important for kids, especially in the summer, to continue learning. What is better than to connect children to animal science and these species' habitats through unique experiences at an AZA-accredited aquarium or zoo?" said Kris Vehrs, AZA Interim President and CEO. "Our partnership with Frito-Lay 2 Go Variety Packs will, for the second year, encourage kids and their families to visit their local AZA-accredited facilities so they can explore, discover, be excited about, and learn how they can help protect the natural world."

Passes are available via Frito-Lay 2 Go packaging featuring a cheetah, panda, monkey, elephant, or penguin, and specially marked Quaker Chewy packaging featuring a koala. The partnership also helps promote the program, AZA SAFE: Saving Animals From Extinction, through a $250,000 donation from Quaker Chewy and Frito-Lay 2 Go Variety Packs.

"It's important for us to learn and care about the natural wildlife around us, focusing our efforts on endangered species like elephants, gorillas, cheetahs, and seaturtles, to name a few. Our partnership with AZA allows us to expose more of today's kids to these wonders," said Beto Galvan, senior director of marketing, Frito-Lay North America. "With Frito-Lay 2 Go Variety Packs being a family-fun snack that can go on an adventure just about anywhere, it's the perfect partnership to encourage exploration for the whole family."

Frito-Lay 2 Go Variety Pack features pre-portioned, single servings of everyone's favorite Frito-Lay snacks, including: Cheetos cheese flavored snacks, Doritos tortilla chips, Fritos corn snacks, Funyun's onion flavored rings, Lay's potato chips, Rold Gold pretzels, Smartfood popcorn, and SunChips multigrain snacks. The variety packs are available at retail stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.60 - $8.99.

As a trusted, delicious and convenient snack, Quaker Chewy bars are a fun snack that moms feel good about sharing with their families and that kids love to eat. Quaker Chewy Granola Bars contain 8 grams of whole grains and come in delectably fun flavors like Chocolate Chip, S'mores and Oatmeal Raisin.
