If you hold a dream for a day, it's only a dream; if you hold a dream for over three decades, it becomes a legend. Nino Selimaj belongs to the latter. When he obtained his first job as a dishwasher, Selimaj dreamed about having his own catering business. Later, when he worked as a busboy, he started thinking about how to make his dream bigger and better. Thirty-five years later, Selimaj has achieved beyond his wildest dreams -- owning and operating four upscale restaurants in Manhattan.

From an Albanian immigrant to a NYC restaurant maven, Selimaj did not rely solely on his dreams. He is a quick study and a connoisseur of good taste and excellent food, resulting in four upscale dining establishments bearing his name: Nino's on First Ave, Nino's Tuscany Steakhouse, Nino's Positano and Osso Buco Restaurant.

To celebrate this milestone, Selimaj is serving up a special $35/person four-course prix fixe dinner at Nino's at 1354 First Avenue at 72nd Street from November 15th to December 10th. The diverse, delicious menu features a wide choice of appetizers, entrees and desserts in an elegant atmosphere accompanied by romantic live music and excellent service. The phone number for reservations and information is 212-988-0002 or by visiting www.ninosnyc.com. Chances are if you call, the delightful Nino himself will take your reservation.
