New York Wine Events is pleased to announce its 4th Annual NYC Autumn Wine Festival will be returning to NYY Steak in midtown Manhattan on Saturday, November 19. General admission sessions will be held at 2:30-5pm and 7:30-10pm. A special Premium Early Access ticket offers guests the option of walking the upscale food and wine event one hour earlier than the rest of the crowd, commencing at 1:30pm for the afternoon session and 6:30pm for the evening.

The New York City tasting will feature over 150 wines curated with the experts of Vintry Fine Wines along with light fare including charcuterie, cheese and breads and Ravioli Classico with pomodoro sauce, fresh basil, and parmesan, plus light hors d'oeuvres including Mini Sliders with fontina and tomato chorizo relish and Roasted Tomato & Mozzarella Flatbread. Numerous artisan food tables will also be sampling chocolates, salsas, sauces, non-alcoholic beverages, and more. In addition to samples, participating artisanal food makers will have full sized items on hand for patrons to purchase and take home. Guests will also be able to keep their complimentary wine tasting glass as a souvenir and enjoy live jazz performances throughout each session by the Saul Rubin Duo.

Tasting tables located throughout multi-level space will feature a mix of wines perfect for fall and the holiday season. Selections include bold, full-bodied red wines, bright and buttery white wines, plus sparkling, sweet and specialty selections. Wines from Old World, New World and emerging regions will be featured and include varietals from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South America, South Africa, Australia, Slovenia, Greece, the United States, and more. The event will also include several New York State wineries and guests will be able to purchase the selections they savor by the bottle or case.

A VIP Ticket option is available (limited to 50 people per session) which includes early access to the main tasting plus admission to a private VIP wine tasting suite. The exclusive suite features 10 high-end wines plus a premium selection of passed hors d'oeuvres including Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon with black garlic and tomato jam, Wild Mushroom Flatbread, Ahi Tuna with avocado, crispy shallots, cilantro, and ponzu, Lobster Sliders with tarragon aioli and pickled shallots on a brioche bun, and Eggplant, Caponata, Pomegranate Agro Dolce on semolina crostini. Wines will include outstanding offerings from Argentina, Bordeaux, Burgundy, California, and Champagne.

"We're delighted to return to the luxurious NYY Steak," says Sam Kimball, founder of New York Wine Events. "With exceptional fall wines and artisanal foods on each level, an optional VIP Suite experience featuring some spectacular high end wines and delicious accompaniments, and classic jazz from the talented Saul Rubin, we'll create an elegant, enjoyable atmosphere in which guests can relax and celebrate this beautiful time of year right before the bustling New York City holiday season kicks in."

A mainstay on the New York jazz scene, musical guest Saul Rubin graduated from the Hartt School of Music, where he majored in composition and studied jazz with the legendary saxophonist Jackie McLean and saxophonist/arranger Paul Jeffrey, before moving back home to New York. Since then Saul's soulful and virtuosic guitar playing has been heard alongside some of the world's greatest jazz musicians, including Sonny Rollins, Roy Hargrove, Renee Fleming, John Hicks, Victor Lewis, Bob Cranshaw, Hank Jones, Frank Wess, CameRon Brown, Larry Willis, Sue Terry, Willie Jones III, Eric Revis, and many more.
