Craft beer enthusiasts in Downtown St. Petersburg have a new reason to celebrate. This month, The Brass Tap is bringing the craft beer trend to Downtown St. Petersburg, offering a huge selection of craft beers, including 60 drafts with 25 dedicated drafts from local breweries such as Cigar City Brewing, Green Bench Brewing, Rapp Brewing, 7venth Sun Brewery and Cycle Brewing as well as over 250 bottled beers, premium wines and cigars.

Customers can also enjoy live music and entertainment along with high-definition televisions and sports programming. In addition, The Brass Tap will share the building with Rococo, an upscale steak house created by the group behind Ceviches. Rococo will offer a custom menu to the customers of The Brass Tap.

The Downtown St. Petersburg Brass Tap will also highlight local craft breweries through promotions and tasting events and feature a large outdoor patio. Customers of The Brass Tap can participate in the Brew Crew club and be rewarded with gift cards, shirts and private parties by trying different beers and reaching fun milestones.

All Brass Tap employees regularly attend training courses to continue learning about their products and to ensure that all customers share in a unique experience every time.

"We're excited to add to the craft beer culture by bringing The Brass Tap to Downtown St. Pete," said co-founders Jeff Martin and Steve Slowey.

The new 2,200-square-feet Downtown St. Petersburg location is in the beautifully restored Y.W.C.A Building, located at 653 2nd Avenue South. The Brass Tap is expected to create 20 new jobs.

The new Brass Tap is part of a much larger Brass Tap mission to more than quadruple the number of existing locations throughout Florida over the next several years. To date, executives with The Brass Tap have sold an additional 50 territories for development in locations including West Palm and Carrollwood, FL.

In June 2012, Beef 'O' Brady's, the 213-unit franchise of family sports pubs and restaurants, acquired the rights to franchise The Brass Tap. Prospective franchise owners will be able to leverage Beef 'O' Brady's strong franchise team and deep resources within the restaurant and franchise industry.
