It's the summer hot-dog season and Oscar Mayer, the innovator who brought you the Wienermobile, is debuting two new hot dog-delivering vehicles to its Wienerfleet, the WienerDrone and the WienerCycle.
WienerDrone is the first unmanned hot dog-carrying aircraft designed for remote location delivery. WienerCycle is a three-wheeled moped with sidecar attached that doubles as a hot dog warming station. The new vehicles round out Oscar Mayer's WienerFleet, which also includes the WienerRover, WienerMini and iconic Wienermobile.
The vehicles will be in NYC for a few days this week and then they're heading to the remote city of Weiner, Arkansas for a Fourth of July celebration. It's all part of the brand's mission to get a better hot dog in hands across America.
Hot dog lovers should know that on May 1st, Oscar Mayer announced its recipe overhaul to remove all added nitrates, nitrites and artificial preservatives from its hot dogs.
