Madison Square Park to Celebrate 11 Years of Flatiron Chefs, 7/14

Celebrate Flatiron Chefs, the highly anticipated annual gathering of beloved restaurants, well-respected chefs, and artisanal drink purveyors from the Flatiron district and surrounding neighborhoods, will be held on Tuesday, July 14th from 5:30-8:30pm in Madison Square Park with the entrance at 24th Street and Madison Avenue.

Hosted by Madison Square Park Conservancy, guests will enjoy a range of delectable dishes and refreshing beverages all while enjoying the scenery of the historic Flatiron district and the atmosphere provided by Mad. Sq. Art's world-class art program, lush trees, and vibrant flowers in Madison Square Park.

Since the inaugural Celebrate Flatiron Chefs in 2005, guests have grown accustomed to the excellent mix of neighborhood mainstays and fresh new talent. This year's almost 30 participating restaurants and Chefs include A Voce (Davide Venturini), abc cocina (Ian Coogan), abc kitchen (Sung Jung), Almond (Jason Weiner, Alex Nieto), Blue Smoke (Jean-Paul Bourgeois), Boqueria (Marc Vidal), Bo's (Alex Pirani, Casey Smart), Café El Presidente (Jason DeBriere), The Cannibal (Francis Derby), Craftbar (Tom Colicchio, Luke Wallace), Eataly (Alex Pilas), Eleven Madison Park (Daniel Humm, Connie Chung), The Gander (Jesse Schenker), Hanjan (Hooni Kim), Hill Country Barbecue Market and Hill Country Chicken (Charles J. Grund Jr.), Izakaya NoMad (Godzilla Yeon, Astroboy Ahn), The John Dory Oyster Bar (April Bloomfield, Charlene Santiago), Junoon (Vikas Khanna, Aarthi Sampath), L&W Oyster Co. (Jason Weiner, David M. Belknap), Maysville (Kyle Knall, Caroline Schiff), The NoMad (James Kent), Num Pang Sandwich Shop (Ratha Chaupoly, Ben Daitz), Obica (Erind Halilaj), Park Avenue Summer (Craig Koketsu, Zene Flinn), Pranna (Suman Uddin), Raymi (Jaime Torres, Felipe Torres), Resto (Francis Derby), The Smith (Glenn Harris, Brian Ellis) and Shake Shack.

Notable beverage participants include a 'liquor row' including Four Roses Bourbon, Greenhook Ginsmiths, Merlet, Owl's Brew, PipeLine Brands, Selvarey Rum, Tanteo, Vesica Vodka, and El Buho Mezcal, as well as wine from Long Island Wine Country and craft beers from Brooklyn Brewery, The Bronx Brewery, and Rockaway Brewing Co. Non-alcoholic options include Acqua Panna, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, GuS - Grown-up Soda, and San Pellegrino.

Tickets are $350 for early admission at 5:30pm, or $200 for general entry at 6:30pm and can

Funds raised support Madison Square Park's horticulture, maintenance, and free cultural programs, including Mad. Sq. Art, Mad. Sq. Music, and Mad. Sq. Kids.
