Napa -- City Winery Napa celebrates all things local with a locally sourced menu and over 30 local fine wines on tap. In May City Winery is celebrating another local resource, the Bay Area's rich musical talent. May has been announced as the official Local Artist Month at City Winery Napa. In celebration of the Bay Area and more specifically the North Bay's talented group of singers and musicians, City Winery is presenting multiple nights of home grown talent.
The local talent kicks off with Bay Area favorite Haunted Summer (5/03), includes two nights of the ongoing Napa Emerging Artists Series with Shelby Lanterman (5/06 & 5/19), Napa Valley Favorites; Rivvrs (5/07) & Hip Shake with Michael Madden (5/22), as well as appearances by Bay Area bands; Leftover Dreams (5/12) & Blue Diamond Strings (5/27). In addition Napa Emerging Artist Series Alum Kristen Van Dyke will be opening for national touring guitar virtuoso, Andy McKee on 5/03.
Over the last year City Winery Napa has established itself as not only the place to see major touring acts (Leon Russell, Allen Stone, Graham Nash, John Oates, Brett Dennen, Lewis Black, Emmylou Harris, Citizen Cope and many more) but also a home for local artists.
