The new holiday comes just in time as Americans advanced their clocks forward one hour for daylight-saving time, thereby losing one precious hour to their day. Knowing that Mondays can be rather challenging anyway, Kahlua has chosen to declare this special Monday as National Cocktail Your Coffee Day- giving coffee and cocktail lovers a delicious excuse to give their regular afternoon coffee break a little extra love.

Whether consumers are looking to celebrate National Cocktail Your Coffee Day in the afternoon or with a post-dinner nightcap, Kahluapairs exceptionally with hot and iced coffee and in a variety of specialty cocktails. National Cocktail Your Coffee Day Signature Recipes
Give your afternoon and evening coffee breaks a little love with some help from Kahlua:

Kahlua Hot Coffee
2 parts Kahlua
3 parts hot coffee
Serve in a mug. Add milk or cream as desired. Garnish with cinnamon or an orange peel.

Kahlua Iced Coffee
2 parts Kahlua
2 parts chilled iced coffee
1 part milk or cream
Pour Kahlua into a highball glass filled with ice. Add coffee and milk or cream.

Kahlua Hazelnut Latte
2 parts Kahlua Hazelnut
2 parts chilled espresso
1 part ABSOLUT Vodka
1 part milk
Serve in a highball glass, garnish with nutmeg.
