Help feed hungry children in your community by visiting a local White Castle restaurant and purchasing a kids meal. White Castle through Castle Shares will be giving back to their communities with real dollars to help hungry kids. The family-owned business will donate $1 from every MySize meal sold from December 8-14 to No Kid Hungry , the charitable campaign of Share Our Strength. Just $1 can feed a child as many as 10 meals!

"This is a season when household and food budgets are stretched tight," said Billy Shore, founder and CEO of Share Our Strength. "Having partners like White Castle on board this December will help ensure more children have an even happier, hunger-free holiday."

No Kid Hungry is a national campaign to end childhood hunger in the U.S. by connecting kids to the food they need where they live, learn and play. No Kid Hungry and its network works to make sure every kid gets every meal every day through nutrition programs that provide school breakfast and summer meals, and also teaches low-income families to cook healthy, affordable food.

"When meeting a need that will make a difference in a person's life, the White Castle family gives without hesitation," said Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president. "We will continue to battle hunger and feed hopes and dreams in ways that build strong, thriving Craver communities, with a focus on education and childhood hunger."

While helping to feed hungry children, Cravers can also create memorable family moments this holiday season by having "Lunch with Santa" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 14, 2014. This is a prime opportunity for little Cravers to submit that last minute gift request to Kris Kringle. Guests can visit Santa without the long lines and stress of the mall, and children can enjoy free food. As many as four children per adult will receive a FREE MySize meal ONLY during "Lunch with Santa." No purchase is required.

No reservations are required. White Castle encourages families to bring cameras to capture every memorable moment with Santa. Contact the local White Castle restaurant to determine if it will be hosting "Lunch with Santa."
