Franzia, The World's Most Popular Wine, is proud to announce a collaboration with Fisher House Foundation to donate up to $50,000.00 in 2016. Franzia will unveil a retail cause campaign whereby the winery will donate one dollar to Fisher House Foundation for each qualifying proof-of-purchase image submitted by consumers from July 1 st to September 30 th, 2016.

During this innovative program, a consumer purchases a box of Franzia wine and pops out the cardboard tab to reveal the tap. Each 5L and 3L tab will have the round Fisher House logo printed on it and consumers can submit a photo of the tab via the Franzia.com website or through text, Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. For each qualifying photo of a tab submitted, Franzia will donate one dollar to Fisher House Foundation, up to a total donation of $50,000.00 in 2016.

Fisher House Foundation provides a "home away from home" for families of military veterans receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The Fisher House homes provide temporary free lodging so families can be close to their loved ones during a medical crisis. Fisher House Foundation also facilitates the use of donated frequent flier miles and hotel points to bring family members to the bedsides of injured service members and to arrange for no-cost hotel stays. Since its inception, Fisher House Foundation has served more than 250,000 military families.

"Supporting current and former members of our military is very much in keeping with the ideals of Franzia Wines," says Franzia Winemaker Jim McDonald. "We have been producing wine in America for over 100 years, and what better way to give back than supporting the people who keep us safe. We'd like to think there should be a box of Franzia in every home, but more importantly, there should be a home for every hero."

For three generations, Franzia has made quality, fresh wines for the American table, pioneering the groundbreaking Wine Tap package in the late 1970s. Today the Franzia Wine Tap package helps ensure quality with a freshness date on every box, and has a smaller carbon footprint and significantly less packaging waste than traditional glass bottles. Franzia is fully committed to less waste, fresh taste, and wines with a heart.
