Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year

DALLAS, Nov. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) The holidays never tasted so decadent, as internationally-renowned Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão unveils new seasonal menu offerings starting this month - and continuing through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day - at all locations nationwide. Festive additions to the Market Table as well as premium steaks like the Vegas Cut New York Strip and Cowboy Bone-in Ribeye make Fogo the perfect dining destination for the entire family this season.

"The holidays are a time for festive gatherings where family and friends come together to celebrate," said Larry Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão. "We believe our new indulgent cuts and seasonal offerings will perfectly complement our fun and lively atmosphere, helping ensure an unforgettable experience for our guests."

With all Fogo de Chão locations open throughout the holidays, guests can enjoy a variety of new menu options as part of the Full Churrasco Experience. On Thanksgiving Day, these additions include:

  • Roasted Turkey Breast with Au Jus - Herb-roasted turkey breast is thinly carved by Fogo's Gaucho chefs and served with homemade au jus.
  • Cranberry Relish - Traditional holiday flavors made from fresh Granny Smith apples, oranges and cranberries add just the right balance of sweet and tart to any plate.
  • Brazilian Sausage & Apple Dressing - Brazilian-spiced sausage is tossed with breadcrumbs and fresh green apples, then baked with savory herbs until golden brown.
  • Sweet Potato Casserole - This cooler-weather favorite combines a savory combination of butter, cinnamon and nutmeg, topped with toasted mini marshmallows (available throughout the season).

After Thanksgiving and through the holidays, guests can also enjoy a new, premium Vegas Cut New York Strip, as well as the recently introduced Cowboy Bone-in Ribeye. Both indulgent, limited time steaks are aged over 21 days for more flavor and decadent texture.

Group and private dining options - ideal for holiday parties - are also available at all Fogo de Chão locations nationwide. Fogo de Chão holiday hours are as follows:

  • Thanksgiving Day, 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

About Fogo de Chão
Fogo de Chão (fogo-dee-shown) is a leading Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, specializing in the centuries-old Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco - the art of roasting high-quality cuts of meats over open flame, all of which are carved tableside by Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs. Founded in Southern Brazil in 1979, there are currently 49 locations throughout Brazil, the United States, Mexico, and the Middle East.

Fogo's distinctive and authentic Brazilian dining experience begins with the seasonal Market Table and Feijoada Bar, which includes seasonal salads, soup, fresh vegetables, imported charcuterie and more. The restaurant features a variety of simply seasoned meats that are fire-roasted by gaucho chefs, plus seafood, desserts, signature cocktails and an award-winning wine list. In addition to the full churrasco experience, Fogo offers its guests multiple ways to enjoy the experience at varying price points, including weekday lunch starting at $15, weekend Brazilian Brunch and a newly enhanced Bar Fogo menu that features smaller, sharable plates, Brazilian-inspired cocktails and happy hour.
