Flavor Your Life, a European Union funded campaign that is dedicated to providing the latest in olive oil news, shares two seafood recipes, prepared with Tuscan olive oil, which make healthy main course meals.

The ingredients needed for Octopus Salad with Potatoes include:

1 octopus

Potatoes

Arugula

Parsley

Salt and pepper

Tuscan olive oil

First, cook the octopus and the potatoes. Wash the arugula, dry it well, and chop afterwards. After cooking the octopus and the potatoes, let both cool. Cut the octopus into slices and the potatoes into cubes. Mix the octopus slices, cubed potatoes, and chopped arugula. Add salt & pepper and drizzle on some extra virgin olive oil. Mix again in a large bowl and make sure to serve cold.

The ingredients needed for Sheets of Sea Bass with Olive Oil and Mango Concasse include:

1 sea bass weighing approx. 4.5lbs

1 ripe mango

Organic olive oil

Peppercorns

Curly parsley

Salt

First, fillet a side of sea bass. Cut into thin sheets, going in the longitudinal direction of the fish. Place on a plate. Sprinkle salt to sweat the fish for ten minutes. Add the extra virgin olive oil. Finish off the dish by adding some curly parsley on top of this great main course dish!

The Flavor Your Life campaign, supported by the European Union, Unaprol and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, is dedicated to providing the latest in industry news and health information about European extra virgin olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil enhances the flavors of your recipes while providing health benefits. The Flavor Your Life campaign, the voice of olive oil production quality control, aims to educate consumers so they can make informed decisions when purchasing olive oil.
