Just in time for National Cheese Curd Day on Oct. 15, Farm Rich, one of the nation's best-selling snacks and appetizers brands, has added a popular new snack to its lineup: Breaded Cheddar Cheese Curds, available in grocery stores this fall.
The new Cheddar Cheese Curds are made with 100 percent, authentic Wisconsin Cheese Curds sourced from the award-winning LaGrander's Hillside Dairy of Wisconsin. Breaded to a light, crispy golden perfection, the product is literally bursting with the mild, salty, fresh goodness of real Wisconsin Curds and has the official "Wisconsin Cheese" seal of approval by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
Farm Rich Cheddar Cheese Curds are available in supermarkets primarily in the Midwest and Southeast, with plans for nationwide expansion later this fall and next year. Priced between $4.99-6.99 for a 16-oz. carton (prices vary by store), the Curds can be found in the freezer section and prepared at home in a conventional oven, toaster oven or deep fryer in under 10 minutes.
"Wisconsin Cheese Curds have had a following of passionate fans for generations, and the love for cheese curds has been spreading far beyond America's Dairyland," said Shannon Gilreath, Farm Rich Director of Marketing. "We've seen rapid growth in the number of restaurants adding cheese curds to their menus. Since Farm Rich is widely known for our restaurant quality appetizers, we wanted to capitalize on the Cheese Curds popularity by introducing them at retail and giving consumers the best-tasting, best-quality authentic Cheese Curd experience available in grocery."
