Dine Out for Earth - Celebrity Chef Fundraiser Set for 1/12

Rock the Earth, a national environmental advocacy organization, today announced a star-studded celebrity chef fundraising event to be held on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at Coohills in Denver, Colo. The event will benefit Rock the Earth and touts six renowned chefs, including Chef Charlie Ayers, Tom Coohill and others and is sure to be an historic event. Tickets are limited to 150 people and the event is expected to sell out. Further event details below and tickets available here.

"We are very excited to bring this inaugural event to Denver and are humbled by that fact that five of the top chefs in Colorado along with our own celebrity Advisory Board member Chef Charlie Ayers, are donating their skills and time to help us shine a light on Colorado's growing local food and beverage movement," said Executive Director of Rock the Earth, Marc Ross. "I'm certain it will be a spectacular night of amazing and creative cuisine."

I'm delighted to band with my fellow chefs for what I know will be a wonderful evening of exceptional food all in the name of giving back," said Chef Charlie Ayers, celebrity chef and owner of Calafia Cafe of Palo Alto, Calif.

Dine Out for Earth Event Details
Date: Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Location: Coohills, 1400 Wewatta St., Denver, Colo
Chefs: Chef Charlie Ayers (Calafia Café), Chef Tom Coohill (Coohils), Chef Troy Guard (TAG), Chef Daniel Asher (Root Down and Linger), Chef Bob Blair (Fuel Café), and Chef Justin Brunson (Old Major)
Tickets: $85 per person in advance; $125 at the door (if available). Tickets here.

Dine out for Earth will celebrate the local food movement in Denver and features six courses of locally-sourced cuisine, local brews courtesy of Great Divide Brewing Company, wines donated by The Infinite Monkey Theorem and cocktails generously supplied by Roundhouse Spirits. In addition to the epic fare, there will be music by Denver's own DJ Russo and also a silent auction of music memorabilia, art and donations from local businesses.

The event is a six-course meal with a fixed price and menu, however, the gracious chefs have agree to accommodate vegetarian or gluten-free dietary restrictions with adequate advance notice. Please write info@rocktheearth.org with your dietary needs.
