DO COOKIE DOUGH CONFECTIONS Celebrates International Women's Day 3/8 Image

On International Women's Day, 3/8, the popular edible cookie dough company, DO, Cookie Dough Confections, invites New Yorkers to visit their Greenwich Village store to celebrate the worldwide holiday. The shop will be offering an exclusive 1-day only flavor aptly named Glass Ceiling where 20% (the wage gap) of each scoop will be donated to Catalyst.org, a nonprofit organization with a mission to accelerate progress for women through workplace inclusion. The flavor is made of sugar cookie with glass sprinkles.
Founder Kristen Tomlan has always been focused on empowering women and since the launch of her business in 2014, has hired and trained a staff that is 85% female. "Women are fierce, smart, quick and have the ability to multitask like nobody's business - they are exactly the people meant to be working in a startup environment. They are team players and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work. My girl gang is like family. They are so important to me and my business," shared Kristen. More information on DO can be found at https://www.cookiedonyc.com/.
