Chef Works, the global leader in culinary and hospitality apparel, will be accepting grant applications until Dec. 31, 2018.

Chef Works is seeking grant applications from nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that are looking for financial support and meet one or all of the Chef Works Cares criteria: 1) the elimination of children living in poverty, 2) aiding children and adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, 3) protecting the environment for future generations.

Since launching its Chef Works Cares charitable initiative in 2014, the company has helped numerous nonprofit companies through funding and event participation.

"To see the impact our charitable dollars have made is extremely meaningful to our company and employees who make volunteerism a priority," said Cynthia McCormick, vice president of human resources for Chef Works, who chairs the Chef Works Cares charitable giving committee. "We look forward to seeing all of the applications and discussing how we can help some of these groups with their 2019 endeavors."

Applications will be accepted until Dec. 31 and grants between $5,000 and $25,000 will be awarded by the Chef Works Charitable Giving Committee in early 2019. For more information and an application, visit the Chef Works Cares website.
