The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the borough's first ever "Kosher Restaurant Week," which will run from the evening of December 14 through the 19.
"After the success of Brooklyn's inaugural 'Italian Restaurant Week,' the thought was to highlight an array of cultures and cuisines that make Brooklyn the food capital of the world," said Carlo A. Scissura, President & CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. "There are many wonderful kosher restaurants in Brooklyn that serve a variety of food - from steak to sushi - so don't be a meshugener and go out and enjoy these great places."
"I would like to thank the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce for highlighting kosher restaurants in Brooklyn," said Gil Cygler, President and CEO of leading New York independent car rental agency AllCar Rent-A-Car and Co-Chair of the Brooklyn Chamber's Government Affairs Committee. "The rest of New York will finally learn, what I and so many others have known for some time, that Brooklyn has some of the best kosher restaurants in the world."
Each restaurant will offer its own lunch and/or dinner specials. Prices range from as low as $9.95 for lunch to $60 for a steak dinner.
