Soldiers and military families stationed at Fort Dix and Fort Leonard Wood can now enjoy the taste of warm, home style meals from Boston Market with the opening of new restaurants at each installation. The new openings are a continuation of a partnership with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service ("Exchange") created in 2014.
Boston Market has opened nine Exchange locations in the past eighteen months, including the following five locations opened in 2016:
"Boston Market is honored to serve delicious, home-cooked meals to the most deserving of individuals the Airmen, Soldiers and military families who sacrifice to protect our country," said George Michel, CEO of Boston Market (a.k.a. "The Big Chicken"). "Expansion continues to be our priority, and the openings this year at Fort Benning, Fort Dix, Fort Gordon, Fort Stewart, and Fort Leonard Wood are one excellent example of how we intend to grow for years to come."
Service members stationed at these installations can opt to dine in the Exchange food court or take a meal home to enjoy with their families. Boston Market prides itself on providing families with an opportunity to connect over real food that is carefully prepared, affordable and without compromise. In addition to its famous signature Rotisserie Chicken, Boston Market offers a healthful menu with more than 100 meals 550 calories or less.
Beyond taking restaurants to military bases, Boston Market is also making it a priority to recruit former service members to join its ranks. In particular, Boston Market is collaborating with military placement and transition offices and utilizing military and veteran job posting boards to attract prospective candidates.
