It's summertime and the living is easy, thanks to a first-time seasonal offering from Betty Crocker and EZ Foil by Hefty, who are partnering to provide consumers more yum and less mess with a simple and easy way to serve picnic treats while saving at the cash register.
Beginning mid-June at retailers nationwide, EZ Foil by Hefty will offer a $1.00 off coupon on its 9 x 13" or 8 x 8" aluminum pans when purchasing any variety of Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie mix, while supplies last. The brands will be prominently featured in a specially designed in-store display unit at select retailers.
"When you think outdoor summer entertaining, you know a pan of fresh-baked brownies isalways a picnic or BBQ pleaser. This partnership is a logical coming together of two go-to brands that consumers find as a solution for their summer desserts," said Perteet Spencer, marketing manager with Betty Crocker.
According to shopper data from leading retailers, brownies are a key component to summer celebrations and entertaining, along with drink mixes, ice cream, fruit, and tortilla chips & salsa. By providing an easy and affordable solution to grab and go, Betty Crocker and Reynolds anticipate a strong response to the promotion.
"We are pleased to work with Betty Crocker to provide savings on our products, which naturally go together and busy families love," said Jeff Trump, bakeware marketing director at Reynolds Consumer Products. "EZ Foil by Hefty pans make it easy to bake up a batch of brownies for home or to take along to work, school, kids' sports events, or a party, without the worry of tracking down your empty pan."
