Basmati's Asian Cuisine has been serving fresh seafood, sushi, and meats to local diners for more than 17 years. One of the restaurant's most popular events has been the Autumnal Wine Dinner. This intimate occasion is the highlight of the fall season, and Basmati's is pleased to announce that the dinner is scheduled to take place for the sixth year on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 24.

Based on the Harvest full moon, the Autumnal Wine Dinner is an opportunity for the chefs and staff at Basmati Asian Cuisine to showcase their talents. A diverse menu is prepared, consisting of fresh local seafood and organic vegetables. The dinner consists of a hand-picked selection of special entrees that have been paired with specifically chosen wines.

The dinner will consist of five courses of the restaurant's acclaimed "Asian-inspired classical cuisine," and each course will be presented with a new wine chosen to complement the dishes. These wines have been brought from all over the world, including selections from Australia and New Zealand. Diners will also be given a chance to converse with knowledgeable wine experts, who will personally present each wine.

Unfortunately, seating is very limited, and the dinner is open only to the first 60 reservations. Basmati's Asian Cuisine recommends that those looking to participate in this annual dinner do not hesitate to make reservations, as the limited seating is expected to fill up quickly. The dinner is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Reservations may be made by calling (850) 267-3028.
