This spot has a casual yet upscale feel that is perfect for any type of outing whether it's a friendly get together, date night or a celebratory gathering.
We visited Station LIC on a Sunday afternoon. Their brunch selections provide the perfect combination of sweet and savory selections. Making choices from the tempting menu isn't easy. After settling on two of their popular dishes, we enjoyed the "Smoked Salmon Hash" that has delicately smoked salmon and breakfast potatoes served over bagel chips and topped with poached eggs and dill yogurt. And their Chicken n' Waffles was delicious. The dish had a real flair with a sweetened waffle topped with ham, crispy fried chicken breast, and fried eggs. The portions were hearty and satisfying and both dishes were wonderfully presented.
The brunch menu also includes traditional dishes such as Quiche of the Day, Bacon and Eggs, a Breakfast Burrito and the Creme Brulee French Toast. But for those that prefer, luncheon choices are available including their Mac 'n Cheese, Kale Caesar, the special "Ponzi" burger, Crispy Polenta or their Slow Roasted Pork Sandwich.
To compliment your brunch, Station LIC serves a variety of Bloody Marys (The Marys) and Mimosa's (The Bubbles). The Caricoa is a sweet and tropical Bloody Mary with just the right amount of bite. It's made with Cachasa 51 and passion fruit garnished with lime, oregano and a slice of fried plantain. A truly refreshing signature cocktail is their Settebello, a light and smooth drink comprised of pear vodka, St. Germain Elderflower liquor and 'bubbly'. They also feature a fine selection of wine, beer and spirits.
You can also feel good about dining at Station LIC because they are committed to supporting their community. 75% of their ingredients are organic and locally sourced.
