Alice's Arbor is a distinctive farm-to-table restaurant located in the up-and-coming Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. This is more than a local eatery. It is your go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch or drinks and they are very easily accessed by mass transit. With a seasonal menu that makes a full rotation three times a year, they present a delightful array of offerings that feature fresh and organic ingredients. Alice's Arbor is a truly wonderful dining experience.

Low lit and expansive, Alice's Arbor boasts decor that is welcoming and warm. The restaurant has a rustic, attractive style that is designed from reclaimed materials such as wood from the Coney Island Boardwalk. The ambience is familiar and cozy making you feel at home in no time.

We visited Alice's Arbor on a Thursday night for dinner. The modern American cuisine created by Chef Mike Franzetti defines culinary excellence with natural flavors that work in perfect combinations. While Kale Salad may be a common starter, the Alice's Arbor recipe is bursting with unique garnishes that include avocado, apple, pomegranate and pecorino. For entrees, we had some of the classic favorites such as the All-Natural Burger that was so delicious there was no need for add-ons. The perfectly prepared Sullivan County Farm Trout is served over a bed of fingerling potatoes with green beans. The Mac and Cheese has the ideal blend of cheeses with cheddar and goat béchamel and can be served with your choice of mix-ins that includes lobster, jalapeno or pulled pork. Be sure to order one of their luscious desserts like Mike G-Ma's Cheesecake with rasberry coulis or Chocolate Lava Cake. Alice's Arbor also serves weekly specials, such as a three-course dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays. We like the price point, making this restaurant an easy place to stop by anytime.

Alice's Arbor also knows how to do cocktails just right. We enjoyed the "Cloud Break" with Greenhook Beach Plum Gin, Sweet Vermouth, St. Germain, Via de la Plata Cava, and orange simple syrup. It's one of their perfect dinner cocktails but for those that prefer, choose from the ever-changing craft beer menu or a local, organic wine.

With a friendly, attentive wait staff and excellent management, Alice's Arbor offers more than just a meal. Invite some friends, stop by for a drink and stay for dinner. Alice's Arbor can accommodate you for any occasion.
