Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, is pleased to announce that its award-winning Del Frisco's Grille is now open in Palm Beach. Ideally located in the historic Royal Poinciana Plaza, Del Frisco's Grille is an exciting new eatery dishing up creative twists on American comfort classics. Del Frisco's Restaurant Group is based in Southlake, Texas - just outside Dallas - and operates more than 35 restaurants across the country. The opening marks the first Del Frisco's Grille in Florida.
"We're thrilled to bring Del Frisco's Grille to Palm Beach," Mednansky said. "Palm Beach is an iconic destination with a sophisticated dining scene and old-school glamour, and we're excited to welcome guests with our genuine hospitality to enjoy dishes inspired by the local cuisine."
The menu at Del Frisco's Grille takes the traditional bar and grill to new heights, using bold flavors, regional ingredients and local flair in many of its dishes. In 2012, Del Frisco's Grille was honored by Nation's Restaurant News as the winner of the 18 th annual Hot Concepts Award.
At the new Palm Beach location, Anthony Fusco is at the helm as executive chef, offering a menu incorporating market fresh, regional dishes such as Pulled Pork Empanadas, Blackened Mahi Tacos and Plantain Crusted Grouper in a nod to the tropical locale. The menu will also offer Del Frisco's Grille favorites that are easy to share with friends: Wood Oven-Baked Flatbreads, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and Pimento Cheese Fritters. The menu is rounded out with a selection of prime steaks, hearty salads, formidable sandwiches and chef-inspired entrees.
With 350 selections from the Grille's sleek "wine wall," Del Frisco's Grille offers a wide variety of choices that appeal to every palate from the adventurous to the traditional. Del Frisco's Director of Wine, David O'Day, has carefully selected wines from established and up-and-coming regions in the world, creating an unparalleled and adventurous wine list, surprisingly more extensive than those found in a traditional bar and grill.
Del Frisco's Grille chose the award-winning, West Palm Beach-based architectural firm Glidden Spina + Partners for the design of the restaurant because of their understanding and knowledge of the history and architecture of the Royal Poinciana Plaza, a landmark 12-acre site home to first-class restaurants, shopping and commercial office space. The result is an atmosphere that is upscale and stylish and offers an unparalleled experience for visitors and locals alike.
The restaurant's 8,000-square-foot interior has a vibrant color palette that showcases shades of the sunset such as orange, red, amber and plum, bringing the local style of the island to life. Additionally, the exhibition kitchen offers guests a sneak peak at the behind-the-scenes energy and excitement of the culinary staff.
"We can't wait to show Palm Beach what Del Frisco's Grille is all about," added General Manager Alev Ersoy. "This is the perfect place to come for night out with friends or a casual date. We've created a space that is inviting, a menu that is truly delicious and an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming."
Del Frisco's Grille is located at 340 Royal Poinciana Way, Suite 300, in the northeast corner. The restaurant serves dinner Sunday - Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., and Friday - Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
