With Autumn quickly approaching and cooler weather just around the corner, Au Bon Pain, an internationally recognized leader in the fast-casual category, introduces its new Fall Menu featuring innovative seasonal baked goods, classic savory sandwiches, flavor-packed soups, and an indulgent new latte that puts a unique twist on classic Pumpkin. The updated menu incorporates some of the season's most popular ingredients into new limited time offerings like the Smoky Swiss Turkey Sandwich, Turkey, Kale & Wild Rice Soup, Pumpkin Croissant, and Pumpkin Chai Latte.
The new menu features a number of traditional bakery items and beverages that harness the popular flavor-rich ingredients of Autumn. Guests can cozy up with new limited-time, handcrafted offerings like the delicious Apple Streusel Muffin, a flaky Pumpkin Croissant brimming with creamy pumpkin filling, and a rich Pumpkin Blondie. These new baked goods pair well with morning pick-me-up's like Pumpkin Latte, a traditional guest favorite served hot or iced, and the new Pumpkin Chai Latte, a distinctive recipe that features green chai tea blended with pumpkin spice and a touch of cinnamon.
"For the recipes in our new Fall Menu, we were inspired by the cozy flavors of the season to create indulgent, satisfying items as well as more healthful options that are still bursting with flavor," said Katherine See, Au Bon Pain's executive chef. "As cooler weather starts to set in, our guests begin to seek out more traditional comfort foods, so many of our new items for Fall use fresh, high-quality ingredients to put a distinctive twist on some of the classic homestyle recipes that our guests love."
Playing on the brand's commitment to continuous innovation in the kitchen, the Fall Menu introduces the new Smoky Swiss Turkey Sandwich. A crossover between a Reuben and a Rachel, the Smoky Swiss Turkey offers a flavorful combination of melted swiss cheese over sliced turkey that is topped with smoky BBQ sauce, vidalia coleslaw, and a zesty spread on housemade, toasted whole grain wheat bread. Two guest favorite soups are also featured in the Fall Menu, savory Turkey, Kale & Wild Rice and creamy Harvest Pumpkin are both back for another season.
To celebrate one of its first and most popular menu items, Au Bon Pain will be hosting a free Mini Chocolate Croissant Day on September 13 from 2-5pm at participating locations. The fast casual chain is also offering a 2 for $5 deal on all croissants and croisbuns throughout the season.
