Asian Inspirations announces the 4th season of the Lunar New Year Cooking Contest: COOKS SNAP WIN 2018! The contest runs from the 8th of January, 2018 to the 4th of March, 2018.

COOK SNAP WIN 2018 is a cooking contest held by Asian Inspirations every year around the Lunar New Year. Users are encouraged to cook original and creative Asian recipes according to weekly themes and submit them on the website; http://www.asianinspirations.com.au/LNY2018 and share their entries with friends and family to garner votes. The highest voted entry of the week, wins a dining voucher worth $200.

At the end of the contest, Asian Inspirations will choose one best entry from each theme. The winner is also presented with a dining voucher worth $200. For the final judging, all entries are shortlisted and judged by Asian Inspirations based on the authenticity in taste and smell, creativity in presentation/plating, appetite appeal, and originality of the photograph/dish provided.

This year, the challenge gets better with four cooking themes (Fast & Fab - 8-21 Jan 2018, Meat-Free Marvels - 22 Jan-4 Feb 2018, Asian BBQ & Grill - 5-18 Feb 2018, One Bowl Wonder - 19 Feb-4 Mar 2018) and not one, but two Major Prizes!

The Major Prize winners will be chosen based on the appeal to the five senses: presentation, taste, smell, sound, mouthfeel.

Each Major Prize this year includes:
5 days in Tokyo for two, including flights and accommodation
A private authentic cooking workshop
A private local market and tailored culinary tour

Weekly Prizes based on popular votes:
The most voted entry each week wins an Asian dining voucher valued at $200
Plus Asian Inspirations' Choice Prizes:
Four Asian dining vouchers valued at $200 each, awarded to creative entries from each cooking theme, as chosen by the Asian Inspirations team!
