Health Warrior, Inc., purveyor of premium Chia Seeds and Chia Bars, announced today that three-time Pro Bowl running back and one of the top players in the NFL, Arian Foster of the Houston Texans, has made a significant financial investment in the company. In addition to being an investor in the high-growth food company, Foster will serve as an Ambassador, joining Health Warrior in the battle against the conventional western diet of salt, sugar, and fat.

"Health Warrior and Arian Foster both believe in the aspirational power of nutrient-dense, healthy eating and vigorous living, making our partnership powerful," explained Shane Emmett, CEO of Health Warrior. "Arian is famous for his grit, determination, and taking the road less traveled the values that Health Warrior was founded upon. Arian's decision to seek out, invest in, and grow with an emerging brand that produces radically convenient real food is a testament to who he is and what he genuinely believes in. Last week, a Yale University study concluded that most paid professional athlete endorsements are on behalf of high-calorie, low-nutrient junk food that is harming our kids. Arian is turning the tide by not only endorsing a brand that is dedicated to providing the most nutrient dense food possible, but going further much further - and personally investing in it."

Health Warrior Chia Bars are the first and only bar on the national market today with Chia seeds a nutrient-dense superfood as the primary ingredient. They are available in six distinctly delicious flavors: Acai Berry, Apple Cinnamon, Banana Nut, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Coconut and Coffee. One 100-calorie Health Warrior Chia Bar contains 1,000 mg of Omega-3; 16% daily value of fiber, high quality vegan protein, and just 5g of sugar or less. All six flavors of bars are vegan, certified Gluten Free, and delicious. Last month, Health Warrior's Coconut Chia Bar was the top selling new product of the more than 680 energy and wellness bars introduced in the natural food channel over the last year.

Foster asserted, "I have been passionately fighting childhood obesity my entire professional career and this has led me on a deep conquest to try and reinvent the modern diet. I have always longed to find a way to provide healthier food options for everyone especially children. Now, by partnering with Health Warrior, I have an opportunity to do that. Food is fuel and what you eat should empower you. As a professional athlete I am very conscious of what I put in my body. Our Health Warrior Chia Bars are a healthy, delicious, plant-based, low calorie source of vegan protein, fiber and omega-3's a great way to have a healthy, powerful snack. As a key investor, brand ambassador and passionate 'Health Warrior,' I am honored to be a part of this company, and I am looking forward to our journey ahead. We have big plans."

Foster's rise to NFL stardom is remarkable. He was undrafted out of the University of Tennessee yet became one of the NFL's top running backs. In 2010 he burst upon the scene with 231 rushing yards and three touchdowns on opening day. He went on to lead the NFL in rushing with 1,616 yards and set an NFL record for an undrafted player with 2,220 yards from scrimmage. From 2010-12 his 5,702 yards from scrimmage and 47 touchdowns led all NFL players.

Off the field, Fosteris a loving father, devoted husband, philosopher, artist, poet, philanthropist, and fashion enthusiast. He is a three-time Pro Bowl running back for theNFL's Houston Texans and will star in the upcoming Ivan Reitman film "Draft Day." He currently lives in Houston with his wife, Romina, 4-year-old daughter Zeniah, and 4-month-old son Khyro.Foster supports many charities including The Boys and Girls Clubs and "A Crucial Catch,"a program of the American Cancer Society dedicated to early detectionof breastcancer.
