Nashville Symphony and Regions Bank host regions Free Day of Music at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
This free event, now in its fourth year, will showcase more than 25 performances by a diverse selection of Nashville-based artists and ensembles. In addition to enjoying the performances, guests are free to explore the Symphony Center; browse through special clearance items from the Symphony Store; and enjoy a variety of food and drink options. The Schermerhorn Symphony Center Box Office will also offer an exclusive Buy-One, Get-One-Free ticket special good for any Friday concert in the 2009/10 SunTrust Classical Series, available on-site only to Regions Free Day of Music attendees.
Scheduled participants this year include the Nashville Symphony, Roy “Futureman” Wooten and the Black Mozart Ensemble, organist Wilma Jensen, Nashville Philharmonic, Nashville Symphony Chamber Chorus, Latin music ensemble the San Rafael Band, Music City Swing and student ensembles from area colleges and universities (complete schedule below).
The event is set to take place on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
