Join us for Shakespeare & Company's newest holiday tradition! A whimsically mischevous look at the dark side of Christmas, The Santaland Diaries was such a hit with audiences last year that we're bringing it back for another round of satiric, peppermint-coated fun. Based on the popular short story by David Sedaris and featuring the multi-talented Peter Davenport (who originated the role for S&Co in last December's production), this side-splitting one-man show chronicles Mr. Sedaris' time spent working as a Christmas elf in Macy's Department Store.
Artistic Director Tony Simotes pulls out all the stops in this re-imagined production, which is sure to have you laughing your pointy-toed socks off! Occasionally subversive, alarmingly clever, and surprisingly poignant, The Santaland Diaries is well on its way to becoming a modern holiday classic. (At the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre)
