“HOLIDAY FEAST” – A DOSE OF CLASSIC SITCOM JOY
Front Porch Arts Collective
Holiday episodes from four classic Black TV sitcoms of the 1970s, ‘80s and ‘90s – performed live – comprise a hilarious night of seasonal delights as Front Porch Arts Collective serves up its “Holiday Feast” program, which played to capacity crowds in its 2023 premiere. A starry roster of Boston actors do staged readings (and some killer impersonations) of Christmastime scripts from the sitcoms A Different World, Amen, Family Matters and The Jeffersons. Director, actor and choreographer Jackie Davis helms the fun.Performances take place Dec. 12 @ 7:30 pm, and Dec. 13 & 14 @ 8 pm at Central Square Theater, 450 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge. Tickets $25 at frontporcharts.org
Central Square Theater is at 450 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge MA, 02139, Cambridge, MA.
