Galileo's Daughter explores the poignant relationship between renowned scientist Galileo Galilei and his daughter Maria Celeste, through the eyes of a contemporary writer who journeys to Florence to uncover their correspondence. Directed by Reena Dutt, the production features Caroline Kinsolving as the writer, along with Diego Arciniegas portraying Galileo, and Sandra Seoane-Serí as Maria Celeste. This regional premiere highlights the underreported stories of influential women and queer individuals throughout history, enhancing the narrative through a dynamic ensemble of actors. The play runs at Central Square Theater from November 14 to December 8, 2024.
