This cast is phenomenal, and I’m glad these performances and arrangements are being preserved. I already know I’ll be replaying this revival’s “If I Could Feel” more than I should.
To whom it may concern: Please give us the full album. I actively mourn the almost-50-year-old original cast album’s omissions.
Don't get that "preprise" (whatever that is) of "Home."Guess "Funky Monkeys," "Who Do You Think You Are?" and "A Rested Body is a Rested Mind" were dropped. *sigh* Wonder if "Believe in Yourself includes the Wiz's version as well as Glinda's.
^ This production opens with Dorothy singing a bit of “Soon As I Get Home” to establish Dorothy feeling lonely now that she has moved to Kansas to live with Aunt Em after her parents died, so that’s the “Preprise.” All the other songs you mentioned were dropped for this production, and we only get Glinda’s version of “Believe In Yourself.” The Wiz is an unrepentant a**hole in this version.
The two songs they released do sound great. I had a lot of problems with this production, but the vocals and orchestrations were truly stellar. Looking forward to the full album dropping.

In the Album’s defense… the songs you mentioned are not on the Original 1975 recording either.
