Oh Happy Day! marks the world premiere of a bold reimagining of Noah's Ark, written and starring Jordan E. Cooper, a two-time Tony Award nominee. Set in Laurel, Mississippi, the story unfolds during the birthday BBQ of Lewis, the family patriarch, where the surprise return of his estranged son, Keyshawn (played by Cooper), leads to the revelation of buried family secrets. Directed by Stevie Walker-Webb, this production promises a unique theatrical experience that combines humor with poignant themes. It runs from September 19 to October 13, 2024, at Baltimore Center Stage.
